Greetings! This is my introduction page.I go by Derp in the online space. My full username is OkayDerp. I am a self-taught artist. The things I like to draw include mostly character art portraits. Most of my art is very stylistic, as I don’t often draw realism. I am by no means a professional, and I am still a young fella. Commissioning me funds my art journey and my other interests! I love travelling, I like to play music and sing, and I enjoy experimental fashion. You are very welcome to ask any questions at any point in time, I am ready to explain and clarify.

How do Derp’s commissions work?

It is a very simple process!Everything below is optional, follow this guide if you are confused.Step 1: Look through my examples, see if anything catches your eye. You may use this for later.Step 2: Choose one of the options in each of the three (3) categories below for your commission.Subject
- Original character
- Selfie/picture
- Fan art
- Other
Background
- Blank
- Simple
- Specific
Type
- Portrait
- Half body
- Full body
- Other
Step 3: Now that you have your choices ready, you can contact me about your commission! You can find me at @okayderp.bsky.social on BlueSky, or at @okayderp on Discord. If you are unsure of how your message should be, you may follow this guide:1. Greeting, where you found my art, what your intentions are
(Ex. Hello! I saw your art on instagram, and I would like to commission you.)
2. Detailed information about what you want. Include as many references as possible, as much descriptive language as possible, and what your budget is.
(Ex. I would like a portrait of my game avatar, who’s inspired by an Indian peafowl. I will send a colour palette, a pose, and a few angles of my avatar.)
3. Send an art piece (or a few) of mine that resembles the style of art you would like (optional.)I will be asking questions as we discuss so I can get a clear picture. I may send progress images and ask more questions as I work on your art. Make sure to thoroughly communicate what you want. This is to ensure satisfaction with the final product.Step 4: You receive a temporarily watermarked image of the final product to see if you are satisfied. If you are, you may now proceed with the payment. I do PayPal payments, only. ([email protected])If the price was not discussed during the process, this is where the final price is decided. Once decided, you proceed with the payment. You will receive the full, un-watermarked artwork once I see the payment go through on my end.Thank you for reading.
